Step 1
Unpack your plants immediately removing any packing material. Water immediately. Cut away any yellow or brown leaves or broken stems that may have occurred. This grooming is completely normal and will take place as the plant grows.  New leaves and stems appear as the old ones are cut away.
Step 2
Transplant into larger 8 inch containers separately or together in even a larger container. Water again. Keep moist, repeating 2 times a week all summer. Dry soil damages plant.
Step 3
You may place plants outside as long as evening temperatures stay above 50 degrees Fahrenheit.  Plants will do well in full sun to bright shade.
Step 4
These plants can also be watered from the bottom up with a drip catch dish that retains water and aids in keeping the soil moist especially in the hot summer.
Step 5

These are hardy down to about 45 degrees Fahrenheit without damaging the plant.
