Step 1
Unpack your plants immediately removing any packing material. Water immediately. Cut away any yellow or brown leaves or broken stems that may have occurred. This grooming is completely normal and will take place as the plant grows.  New leaves and stems appear as the old ones are cut away.
Step 2
Transplant into larger 6 inch containers separately or together in one larger container. Water again and about once a week all year round.
Step 3
You should place plants outside as long as evening temperatures stay above 55 degrees Fahrenheit.  Plants prefer full sun in summer. Partial in winter is o.k.
Step 4
These plants respond to regular weekly fertilizing from March through August.
Step 5
These are hardy down to about 40 degrees Fahrenheit without damaging the plant.
