Step 1
Unpack your plants immediately removing any packing material. Cut away any yellow or brown leaves or broken stems that may have occurred. This grooming is completely normal and will take place as the plant grows.
Step 2
Transplant into larger 8 inch container separately or together in even a larger container. Pack soil firmly around the crown and roots deep enough so that the plants stand upright. Water again. Repeat watering every two weeks from April through October.
Step 3
Do not re-pot for 3-5 years. They bloom better when root-bound and crowded.
Step 4
You may leave plants indoors year round. Otherwise, place outside as long as evening temperatures stay above 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Shade or dappled shade is required. A north window or exposure is ideal
Step 5
From November through March only water every 2 months!
