Step 1: Remove each bare root from their plastic bag. Cut away any yellow
or brown leaves that may have occurred.
Step 2: Select garden location that will receive partial sun or shade. Plant
separately spacing at least 36 inches. Dig holes twice the width of
the root ball and about 8-10 inches deep. Place them in their holes.
Cover with an inch or two of soil and pack soil firmly around root.
Step 3: Water them thoroughly. Once they sprout water again. Keep moist
in summer.
Step 4: In the garden, the clumps will sprout foliage when the soil temperature
rises sufficiently usually around late April to early May. They
will produce impressive flowers in mid-summer through autumn
atop gorgeous leaves.
Step 5: In the garden, they are hardy down to a minus 30 below 0!
