Remove each bare root from their plastic bag. Cut away any yellow
or brown leaves that may have occurred. This initial grooming stimulates
new growth immediately.
Plant separately spacing about 18-24 inches. Dig holes twice the
width of the root ball and about 8-10 inches deep. Place them in
their holes. Cover with an inch or two of soil and pack soil firmly
around root. Full sun is best.
Water them thoroughly. Once they sprout water again. Keep moist
in summer.
Planted now each root will produce impressive flowers in mid-summer
through autumn. Self seeding their offspring will produce every
year.
They are hardy in the winter to a minus 40 degrees below 0!
