Remove wrap from the bottom of bamboo.

Discard separated roots or leaves.

Place it into a vase, glass, or jar. Add 2-3 inches of water.

Place near any low light window in the home.

Add additional water as it evaporates. This is a very gradual

requirement. Maintain the same water level each time.

They sprout 1 inch roots and 3-4 inch leaves. This takes about four weeks.

If placed outside in the summer, bring them back in before

the first frost.
