CUTTING PREPARATION – The
bamboo is ready to plant immediately.
Remove wrap from the bottom of bamboo.
SHELF LIFE – To insure
adequate moisture for the roots, planting
should occur immediately.
GROWING IN WATER – Use 2-3
inches of water adding more as it
gradually evaporates to the same level as
before.
SPROUTING TIME – Allow 4 weeks
to sprout 3-4 inch leaves.
TRANSPLANTING – You may change
the container at any time.
VASE SIZE – Use any size that
accommodates the bamboo preventing it from tipping over. For
shallow vases, place small pea size gravel around bamboo for
support.
SOIL – Never place into soil.
FERTILIZER – Add a well
balanced fertilizer to the water according
to the dilution rate recommended.

Hawaiian Flower Magic (M7503 or
M9817) works great as it contains no salts,
dyes, or chlorines that
burn roots.
TEMPERATURE ZONE 11 – When
nights stay above 45-50 degrees, you can place your plants
outside and leave them there all summer. Otherwise you may
leave them in the home year round.
LIGHTING – Partial sun or
diffused light is best. Too much sun will
burn your leaves.
GROOMING – Cut away old leaves
that yellow as the plant grows
taller. This is normal growth patterns as
the plant grows taller.
